Summary	"Chicago: Former Chicago west side gang leader James Hobson, 24, talks with newsmen as he arrived at O'Hare Field 1/24, almost a year to the day he had returned home from Vietnam. It was in Vietnam as a platoon sergeant for the 1st Cavalry Division that he won two Bronze Stars for heroism, a Presidential Citation for valor, the Air Medal and Combat Infantryman's badge. Hobson was sent to Germany last year, and on 5/21/70, a grenade exploded in an Army NCO club in Hohenfels, where Hobson's unit was training. Hobson was arrested and charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder. He was found innocent of the main charges, but was stripped of his rank and sentenced to three months for disobeying an order."
