Summary	Medal is a bronze cross pattée with crossed swords between the arms. The obverse has the female head of La République at the center of a disc bearing the text "REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE". The reverse has the years "1914-1915" at the center of a disc. Medal is suspended from a green ribbon with thin red vertical stripes and a bronze palm leaf device attached.
