Notes	Title supplied by cataloger.;Medal is finished with gilt and black enamel. Obverse has a lion defeating a dragon bearing a hammer-and-sickle in black finish superimposed over four gold swords pointing to the four cardinal directions. Obverse is dated "17 Julio 1936" and is signed "Ega?a." Reverse has a gold eagle clutching the Spanish coat of arms in black finish next to the Spanish fascist Falangist emblem of five arrows tied together with a rope and a Spanish helmet. Around outer edge of reverse is written "Arriba Espana" and "Generalissimo Franco una Grande Libre Imperial ML. HSP. Glor". Medal is suspended from a ring on a red ribbon 3 cm. wide with a wide gold stripe down the center and black edging indicating front line troops. The ribbon is affixed to to a rectangular brass bar with a pin back device.
