Summary
Camera
case
is
olive-colored
and
appears
to be
made
of
canvas
, with
two
'
lift
the
dot
'
fasteners
. The
camera
itself
has a
thin
,
black
leather
cover
,
which
is
falling
off
and
displays
rust
in
places
. On
one
end
is
a
handle
, also
made
of
leather
and
attached
to the
camera
by
metal
rings
.
Loose
in the
case
is
another
leather
strap
attached
to a
metal
component
with
screw
threads
that
appears
to
screw
into a
similarly-threaded
cavity
on
one
side
of the
camera
to
act
as a
handle
. On the
opposite
side
is
a
button
that
when
pressed
releases
the
front
door
,
which
would
allow
the
camera
to '
self-erect
' and
automatically
extend
the
bellows
and
lens
when
the
camera
was in
peak
condition
. A
metal
strip
labeled
"
KODAK
" and "
17014
" would also
unfold
to
keep
the
camera
standing
in
place
.
Currently
, the
bellows
cannot
extend
to its
full
operational
position
. What
can
be
seen
inside
includes
a
small
plaque
on the
inside
of the
front
door
,
which
reads
, "

", "
MADE
IN
U.S.A
. BY

".
Around
the
lens
can
be
read

",
underneath
the
Eastman
Kodak
symbol
which
looks
like
an
intertwined

EKC
"
monogram
.
Above
this
symbol
is

", with "

below
.
Outside
and on the
reverse
of the
camera
is
a
red
window
,
used
to
view
exposure
numbers
and
prevent
overlapping
of
frames
when
winding
film
, and an
autographic
window
,
which
reads
"
USE
FILM
NO
.
A-120
". This
window
exposed
portions
of the
film
, on
which
short
messages
or
notes
could
be
written
with a
stylus
.
Once
exposed
to
light
, these
messages
were
burned
into the
negative
along
with the
image
.
